Dragonhaven - Robin Mckinley - glad I got it from the library. I've read too much of her blog a few years ago, and the voice is very similar to that (first person) and it ... didn't work for me.

All by P.D. James, in the Inspector Dalgliesh series. I (re)read A Certain Justice then The Murder Room, then decided to go back and read the rest of them (and I have them all) before I give them away. Most of her people are not ... nice? people I'd want to know?; I get the feeling that James does not really like people much, and most everyone is unhappy. There is no sense in keeping the set. I will keep the 2 Cordelia Grey books, because James writes reasonably good mysteries, and shelf space for a pair of books is much small than that for 15 and counting.
