freaking tongue web
so i have had that little web under my tongue pierced for about 2.5 years now with absolutely no problems or complications.
then all the sudden 3 days ago it starts to get tender. i'm thinking, oh, it's just irritated. it slowly gets a little worse and swells after every time i eat. i just keep doing sea salt soaks and hope it goes away. by last night it has become pretty dang painful, sore and swollen. so today i'm going to a pierce shop and getting it taken out. matthew and i tried to take it out last night to no avail. it's so difficult trying to hold my tongue still. plus, there is like NO room for fingers in my tiny jaw and the spit that wells up when i'm trying to get my grip on those slick little barbell ends is a bitch.
so goodbye pretty piercing i have loved. i will miss you much, but i can't wait to get you the fuck out of my mouth so i can eat again.
