- My keyboard is malfunctioning. I'm not sure if there's some physical problem or if it's firmware-related, or if it's just dying (I hope not; it's only a couple years old). As it stands, the 'K' key and the "Enter" key both register very infrequently. It's notable how rarely I actually use the letter 'k' in everyday speech, but "Enter" is particularly annoying, as I'll type an address in, hit enter, and think that the page is loading when it is in fact just sitting there. Grr.
- I got Guitar Hero III on Sunday, so now I have 2 controllers, though I'm disappointed in the wireless controller for a couple of reasons. It uses AA batteries only instead of the 360 controller's battery pack, and it has weird voodoo-like flakiness with the headset. Nonetheless, I can now play online with my brother as well as local 2-player. Apparently you can only do a co-op career locally (grr) so let me know if you're interested in starting a band.
- On that note, one of my new year's resolutions this year was to reclaim the ability to casually hang out with people. It hasn't really been a part of my life to just "hang out" with folks since middle school (excepting college, where it was too easy not to), so I think subconsciously I associated it with that age and saw myself as past it. Anyway, obviously for those that live far away, big events will still be crucial, but I'd also like to randomly get together with folks every now and then just to chill without it being a big ordeal.
- Beth Ann is still looking for a job, and has decided to change careers to working in Human Resources. So if anyone knows of any openings, pass them my way and I'll make sure she gets them.
