Oh, I really like this. It's lovely to see fic focusing on Joshua, especially one that does it so well. I especially like the way it's linked into Joshua's painting of Alec, all tricks and treats.

This is great, you really captured Joshua’s voice... innocent but not stupid and with the knowledge from father’s books and with the sensory impressions much more intense for him. Also liked the whole set-up, the irony of the transgenic hater worshipping Joshua’s art.
