Been a while
So, we put our 19 year old cat down today. I think he may have had kidney failure & it was like his digestive system totally shut down. I'm sad, but I've basically been prepairing for this all summer because I've seen him deteriorate. It's amazing enough to have a cat for 19 years, so I guess I can't complain. But I've had him since I was 3 - so that makes it hard. I think it helps having Kermie & the kittens though.
Anyway, in other news....I don't know how I'm going to get through this year. I really wish I would have made last week my last week of work instead of working all of this week through Saturday. I have so much to prepare. Not just getting my apartment ready, but getting stuff done for PSP, APSSC, & Mortar Board. I feel really unprepared....and that's not how I want to start out the year. I wanted to spend my summer figuring stuff out, but I procrastinated a little bit and then I got crazy busy. Now summer's gone.
Here's the rundown for the week. I work at the zoo in concessions tomorrow 9-5 then I work in Frankenmuth from 6-close. Wednesday I have to get up before 7 to be in Mt. Pleasant to move all of my furniture out of my storage unit & into my apartment. Thursday I'm finishing moving in the big stuff & taking some of my clothes and stuff. Friday I work 9-5 at the zoo in the office and I think I work 6-close in Frankenmuth (but I'm not sure yet). Saturday I work 8-4 in Frankenmuth. Then I'm packing up the rest of my stuff so I don't have to come home again until Labor Day. And of course, school starts on Monday, and I don't even have all of my books yet. AH!!!
I am soooo disorganized! Plus, I need to get a laptop & I haven't even picked one out & if I get one through Dell I have to wait for them to put it together & ship it.
I don't even know what I'm going to do anymore. I've overwhelmed already and I haven't even started classes yet. At least I'm only taking 15 credits this time around. Anyway, I should go I guess. It is getting sort of late & I still have to take a shower. Sigh.
