I can "juggle" - I should be in a circus

It's crazy all of the things I juggle around. I have this Delta class, work at the zoo, a crazy extended family with major issues that I will not go into right now, not to mention dealing with living at home again, and having my boyfriend living like 2 hours away (which it is now because of all the stupid construction on 69), oh yeah, and a horse to get ready to show in like 1 week.

So I have my first SOC exam on Tuesday and a homework assignment due. I work tomorrow 9-5 and Saturday 9-1....and as soon as Liz gets out of class we'll go to the zoo and see what Sunday-Saturday looks like for next week. So I added up my hours and assuming I don't get sent home early anymore this week, I'll have put in 26 hours of work. Not too shabby for my first week's work. I would have had 27 hours, but I got sent home like 45 minutes early yesterday because it got really slow and was about to rain.

Hopefully I'll be working the other concessions a little more next week. They have me at Whistle Stop (by the train) for this whole week. I only worked Carousel Café once and that was my first day. I know they're trying to get me used to the other register and make me have to prepair all of the hot food - but it'd be nice to take a little break and instead of making pizzas, nachos, breadsticks, hotdogs, brats, and cookies, I could just worry about the cotton candy....and the popcorn - but I deal with that at both places.

As pathetic as this sounds, I really hope I don't work Sunday morning. Paul was inquiring about coming up to visit and he could come Saturday afternoon and go back on Sunday. That would be perfect. But I'm not going to have him come if I have to work on Sunday morning at 9. I mean unless he wants to come and leave really early, or hang out with my parents until he goes home. Awkward.

On Saturday I'll hopefully be taking my cousin out for a good time before his b-day. We're supposed to go to his party on Sunday at 1, but I'll probably be working. Which I guess gives me a good excuse to not go.....there's some weirdness and some stuff that we don't approve of in that household - which is why we didn't go for Easter. Again, not going to get into it, but that's half of the extended family struggles. I was planning on doing something with both of my cousins, but Matt (the 15 year old) made regionals for track and has a meet at USA (out in the thumb) and probably won't get back from that until late.

Wow, you can tell that I really don't want to work on my homework and such becuase I'm making a really long post instead of reading/doing homework while I wait for Liz. In fact, I should probably go home so we don't have to take two cars out to the zoo. Not like it's far away or anything, but I only have a quarter of a tank and I want my gas to last me as long as possible.

I really need to start working my horse like every day this week. Because I have a show in like 1 week and I rode him for the first time yesterday! Not a good plan. But thankfully, he was really good. Like amazingly good since I haven't ridden him since spring break! Hopefully it stays like that and he's that good at the show.....

Especially since my 21st b-day is the Saturday of the show!!! It's going to be fun. I only have 1 class on Saturday (instead of like 15 like normal) and I don't even know if I'm going to do it. Unfortunately, I'll be showing in the first class at 8am on Sunday. So no partying...as if I would. I mean come on, at induction party I only had 1 smirnoff. I was "mom" at that party. It was fun though. I got to help people make it to the bathroom before they got sick, got to talk to people about random things that I'm sure they don't remember, and the like.

Oh! I just checked my delta e-mail and got a letter about a $6000 scholarship!! I'm definitely jumping on that one. It's for people who got there associates here and have at least a 3.0 and are transfering to a 4 year university. And I graduated in August '05 and you have to have graduated since May '05 so I'm qualified because I graduated Delta with a 3.7 and currently have a 3.6 at CMU. So I'm hopeful.

Well, I suppose I should get off the computer and drag Liz (who has now joined me) off of her's and go to the zoo. I'll post again sometime....probably my next time here because they actually have computers that work.

You're a Shy Kisser

You *do* love to kiss, once your comfortable with it
And that means knowing the person you're kissing pretty well
You usually don't make the first move when it comes to making out
But you've got plenty of intensity in return
What Kind of Kisser Are You?
