i JUST found out that i must have lost my velvet underground pin, which i kept pinned to my belt for the last two and a half years. i think it was after i left the hotel party on saturday night/sunday morning. ugh this makes me so incredibly upset. it was the gayest little thing you ever did see, this pink little made-at-home pin, but for some reason it made me feel good to have it at my hip. also it was a gift from kim and i hate losing gifts, no matter who they're from. and i just wanted to keep it because it kept falling off, and being able to keep something that's easily lost would have been making a point to myself, i suppose. whatever, too much analysis. getting sentimental over objects is lame, but hey, there must be a good reason if you're getting sentimental.
i don't think i've felt genuinely upset and just sad like this in a very long time.
