proud mum moment

I have just received the mail, in the mail was a letter from the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth.....my son has been nominated and accepted to join the Academy :D I am so proud of him, he can finally get the support he deserves, he can sit his exams early, take part in subject specific summer schools, take extra-curricular activities - in short he can make good use of that darn huge brain he has.

I cannot convey how proud and delighted I am (and a little shocked) :D
