A new plan
I know both kids want the Lego Helicarrier a whole lot. I want it too. (Baby calls it the Hellocarrier, which is adorable.)
I think I will set up a plan with them where if we get certain chores done during the week (me included) we will put money in a box toward the kit. Maybe $10 apiece, so that if I don't do my stuff, we put in $20, or if two of us don't do our stuff, we only put in $10.
This would also encourage the kids to help each other with their chores. In other houses it might encourage them to fight more over who hasn't done what he was supposed to, but as there is literally no way they can fight more than they do, that won't happen.
