Politics
I answer Len's questions about politics but I don't say things to him like "that person is evil." We talk about ideas instead and I ask him what he thinks. For example, he is absolutely boggled by the idea that any two people of whatever race or gender identity should not be able to get married.
Anyway, on the news show I was watching this morning, they showed a picture of Romney and one of Obama because they were talking about the fundraising each candidate did in May.
Len looked thoughtfully at the screen and then said, "Romney, is that the guy who said we needed to get rid of Planned Parenthood?"
"Yes," I said, kind of surprised because I have never discussed Planned Parenthood with Len.
"Oh." Len wrinkled his nose. "I hate that guy."
I love that kid.
