Cousin's Wedding
Last weekend B and I headed off to rural New York State to John and Katie's wedding. John is B's middle cousin. It was a blast. B's family is very nice and most of his cousins are around my age. His family is very welcoming. The wedding was beautiful. It was held in Roxbury, NY at a local Catholic Church. Then the reception was held in a Huge tent in a park. They had three open bars. The center pieces were lovely. They had a 5 tier cake. They had two bands. They had about 150 guests of all ages. We stayed at a super cute motel called the The Roxbury http://www.theroxburymotel.com/. It was decked out in different theme rooms or designs. They had a Fred caveman room, an I dream of Jeanne room, and mod room. The motel also proved a lovely continental breakfast. A few feet from the motel was the after wedding bar. It was small, but made great drinks and munchies. We huge out with just family on Sunday.
It was a really fun weekend. It makes me wonder what my little wedding is going to be like for everyone. My budget is small and so is the guest list. We might have a house wedding party so we can invite everyone. I wanted a wedding for B and myself, but it is all a little over whelming.
