and what do you know, he really does (and i couldn't believe my big ears when he let the cat out of the bag). the truth was staring me in the face for the whole two weeks, and i chose not to believe it. friends just love to pull my leg because i'm so trusting. but look what happens when i decide to call a bluff? it turns out to be true! so apart from being really happy for him/them, i was also pretty amused at myself. haha, i still need to laugh at myself a bit more.

it just happened that kb's parents were flying in from china today and i had earlier agreed (prior to finding out about the sale) to meet him for dinner at the airport before he picked his parents up. so when i later learnt that the nike duffel bag was going at 50% off today, i felt like i'd just struck lottery. hehe. thanks to them, i now have a roomy duffel bag that is perfect for short trips! *pleased*
