what a very pleasant morning surprise!
walked into the room this morning expecting to see strangers but instead found lw with his camera and elaborate photography equipment instead. turned out that he's interning for TODAY and he'd been tasked to be the photographer for this assignment. i like chance blast-from-the-past meetings of this sort ... and i hope he managed to get some good pictures (for entirely selfish reasons!). heh.
in other news, we stumbled upon a gem of a store (digital laser flair ?) at century square this evening that stocks a decent collection of VCD/DVDs for rent at affordable prices. a belated discovery i'm sure, considering i haven't been to that shopping mall for a month ... but i do believe i've found my neighbourhood blockbuster! yay for indulging in the home-body life! *grins* next on my to-watch VCD/DVD list (now that it's actually possible to have a list without burning a hole in my pocket) - harold and kumar go to white castle. i've heard some good things about it.
