grumped around at work today because of a general lack of sleep (i had a poor 4 hours of sleep per night for all 3 nights in zhengzhou), all the tiresome stuff that had to get done and all the minor distractions that came my way ... leading to a very unproductive, highly-irritated me. to cap it all off, we got instructions from the big boss at the end of the day to get some planning work done at double-speed. always hurrying to deliver goods is really an apt name for the group.
the oreo cheesecake from secret recipe did bring some good cheer though. had bought it on a whim after g dragged me all the way to the shop after work today. with a generous slice in my tummy, i now feel more at peace with the world. maybe all i needed today was some chocolate to make me feel a little better.
