crab cholesterol
the big(ger) boss gave everyone a dinner treat today at seafood paradise restaurant tucked away in a building on one of the many defu lanes. he said it was to thank us for all the hard work we've put in ... up to the extent of sending him emails at 1am (upon which he looked at me (!!) meaningfully *sigh* i have been avoiding such destructive behaviour for quite awhile already lor, seriously!).
anyway, we had butter crab as part of our feast, which is apparently the restaurant's specialty, and it came swimming in a creamy sauce which led to comments of CREAM OF MUSHROOM CRAB! ALFREDO CRAB! CARBONARA CRAB! heh. it was tasty, although it took awhile for the uninitiated to get used to the sight and taste. but i think mellben is still THE place to go for crab. the treat was a nice gesture on the big(ger) boss' part, and i'm sorry that he won't be our boss for much longer. he's one of the few (2?) people that i respect around here.

relationships are fragile. so are the hearts that come with it. although i'm just tempted to use the singular, since ever so often, it's usually just one party that gets hurt. there are the break-ups and then there are THE break-ups. but at the end of the day (when that day comes), we'll look back and say that it was for the better ... seriously.
