clocking in

tuesday's run: 5.0 km in 30 min 30 sec
today's run: 6.0 km in 38 min
so after religiously going to the gym/park at least twice a week for the past two months, running 5km in a decent time is no sweat now (erm, metaphorically of course!). slowly but surely shaving off time from the 5km runs while building up to the 10km mark! i want to be able to do the 10km sheares bridge stretch without dying halfway on the bridge. i have my pride and the fear of being malu-ed will keep me focused on my running routine until i can cover 10km without trouble.
