updates about life
In the meantime! I got a new job and then promptly did crazy hours wherein I basically lived at the office. 2 people have gotten fired and 1 person is leaving next week - so I'm not sure what my hours will look like once that happens. Alarming, probably. Still, a job is a job! I'm learning quite a bit.
I already took advantage of my vacation days! The first vacations I've ever taken in my life!
I've been to Canada and South Carolina now. I want to visit all my friends that I'd been promising to visit. Maybe I'll take a trip down to MD or up to Boston.
Who's up for it next year? A couple days of sight seeing?

Creatively, I've picked up writing because it seems to come easier to me than drawing does these days. I'm CG painting more than drawing. Drawing is still quite hard. I want to figure out this work/life balance situation so I can actually devote time to drawing again - but that doesn't seem like it's going to be happening any time soon. Maybe next year. Supposedly the schedule will lessen significantly then.
