It's been a long time since updating. I'm re-reading a lot of LOTR fan fiction. Still enjoying Jeeves & Wooster fan fic also. I love the site indeed sir. I'm also following the making of The Hobbit.
Believe it or not, I have the concentration to follow current events. I've been following the middle east and the far right GOP. I have to tell my daughter, "no honey, they didn't used to be crazy conservative. They used to be more reasonable."
Just sent my daughter to Germany to spend five weeks with a friend of mine . After a week or so, when she gets her feet, she is planning on traveling and staying in hostels. This is such a great opportunity for her that I begged, borrowed and stole (ok, and worked), to make this happen. The doctors are back to thinking she has Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. Her blood tested positive for Celiac Disease, but the gastro dr. says she doesn't have it. But we did find out she is sensitive to gluten and is doing much better without it. She has been doing well for most of this year. Sent her with lots of medicine and keeping my fingers crossed.
My son has been staying with my brother since April in Texas. They have lots of jobs there. He got a job at a car wash and makes pretty good money with the tips. This was his first real job and he did great. He is coming home this week because my brother and his wife bought a house and don't want anyone living with them. After five kids, they are done in. Perfect timing, Max can be here during the day with my mother. She's 85 now and has hardly any blood flow below the knees. The dr. is going to go into her arteries in her abdomen and unblock them.
Crazy family still crazy, okay for now.
