I never thought I would lose my LOTR intensity, but it has been replaced for the last few months with Jeeves and Wooster, of all things. I'm reading their fan fiction now. I don't know why, but I'm stuck on it. Kind of embarrassing, whot? I don't believe I have abandoned LOTR, still checking in on those writers.
Bad summer for my daughter (18-years-old). Two months ago she developed asthma. Now it looks like she has Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/cyclic-vomiting-syndrome/DS00835/DSECTION=symptoms. It is thought to be an abdominal migraine. She has been nauseated for the last 6 years (sometimes laid up for days), but the doctors could not figure out why. Sometimes we thought it was stress, since she does have an anxiety disorder. But now she has started the marathon vomiting (8 times in 2 hours), and had to go to the ER for an IV. The doctors still have tests to run, but after reading up on CVS on-line, I do believe that is probably what they will determine. After vomiting blood, they first thought it was an ulcer. That could be healed but CVS could be for the rest of her life. I am crushed; the quality of her life will be diminished significantly.
My son decided not to take any classes this semester because he kind of crashed and burned at the end of last semester. He started having anxiety attacks at school and couldn't enter the classroom. He is kind of looking for a job. I'm happy to have him here at home to look after my mother - who is doing pretty well.
Husband is still living away from home, but I pay his rent - so not good. I still need to take care of him - his Aspergers and OCD still interfere with his ability to handle alot of things.
My cats and dogs are doing well. My hamsters died a few months ago of old age - the ingrates; I just bought them a new cage, and all the trimmings.
Gotta get me a new icon, but not motivated.
