Voting

So I mailed my absentee ballot request off before election day. The absentee of course doesn't show up until the day before the election so I find out I can do a provisional ballot.

I call up Phelps County court house to find a local polling location and the lady asks why I need it. I tell her my situation and she tells me I cannot do a provisional vote because I'm registered in St. Louis County not Phelps County. This seems like bullshit to me, but I decide not to put up a fuss and explain to her that would mean everybody voting "normally" would be provisionally voting.

I wandered about the dorm trying to figure out where a polling place would be, but no one knew until I found Dorma. Dorma sent me to the University Police station. I arrived there to the typical old people running the polling location. I ask about a provisional ballot and they were completely dumbstruck. None of them were to sure what it was until one woman said, "Perhaps it's that yellow thing in the corner under the sonic's chicken." So after filling out an affidavit I was allowed to vote. What an experience.

I voted and all I got was this crappy sticker.

Well in fourteen days I'm calling this number to make sure my vote was counted.
