I am So Blessed
Today at work a woman asked if we had any "aids awareness bracelets" it made me wonder if she had aids. But then it got me thinking.. even if SHE didnt, someone else does. I tried to imagine what they could possibly be going through. What would i do, or think, or say if i had aids? And how SMALL and trivial my issues and problems are in my life compared to a life shortened or stopped by a desease like Aids. It really makes you put things of importance into place when you see someone or think of someone in a much worse situation then yours. And just becasue we dont see people in worse situations or going through something much worse then what we are at the time.. doesnt mean there are not millions out there. count your blessings daily.
I am so blessed for the health i have. I am so blessed to be able to sleep in peace. I am so blessed to wake up every morning regardless of what that day may bring. I am so blessed to have a home to live in, shelter, food, water, clothing, parents, friends, family, people who love me. I am so blessed to have a job. I am so blessed to be living in the United States. I am so blessed to have my life and everything in it.
why do i worry about things? why do i stress? I should just be blessed and thankful to have what i have, not upset for what i dont have. God is a good God.
Lord, Im ready to grow.
