My beautiful long golden locks (read: longish dirtyblond hair), is no more.
Well, not really no more; I just got a haircut.
It wasn't really long or anything, nothing like an '80s hair band (THANK GOD), but it was longer than average and I kinda liked it. But the boss said it had to go, so...

My hair is now much shorter (not too short though) and in a style I've never had before. And, judging by the ridiculous squee session put on by co-worker S (married older woman), it's not too bad either. I also got flirted with by three women around my age within fifteen minutes while taking care of errands around town...? That's never happened in quite that way before, so it looks like this was a good thing.
Yeah, I know this feels like a bragging post, but whatever. A guy needs to brag once in a while.
