I'm in Chicago with my improv group.
Highlights so far:
- As we drove into Chicago, we listened to the song Chicago, and it was magical.
- The workshops and shows we've taken so far have been very informative and entertaining. Some were mediocre, but the good ones were awesome.
- The food is amazing. Bam.
- We ran into Tim Meadows in a cafe across from Second City. He parked in the street right outside, and we waited for him to come back. We gave him extra time when he didn't show up. Then he finally did, and we waved him in through the window. He came in to the cafe to say hi to the owner, and we all took pictures and had a grand old time.
Lowlights so far:
- There is this huge riff between me and the rest of the group. They sleep all day, then start having fun (drinking and such) after I fall asleep at night. I want to hang out with them, but there is never an opportunity.
- So far my sleeping partners have involved guys who take up as much of the bed as they can (for they like to cuddle) and snore.
- The one girl I'm closest with in the group has practically ignored me the whole trip.
