Blogging/Vacation
This is gonna be an update on the recent vacation I took off of work to go back to MS.
It started on Monday afternoon, I took a half day off of work and headed straight to MS. No insurance on my truck, still none now, but I'm getting that straightened out, and I'm ridin dirrty. Nigga please. Oh, I saw a Lotus on the way there. I took pictures of it, but it's all from the back end. I'll upload it later.
So anyways, I got into Ocean Springs, MS on Tuesday morning. Midnight to be precise. Supposedly there was a party at Will's house, but everybody decided to be pansies and went to sleep early. I decided I ride over to Josh's house and hang out with my brother, randall, josh, and jeff. After a few mins of Super Smash Melee, I went home to sleep for the big trip to N.O.
Tuesday Morning 7:30-9. I woke up, took a shower, and took my brother with me to Randall's house. From there, we went to the gas station, then back to Randall's for some oil(Chevron Castol GTX is the best) and back to the gas station for Misc. items. Then we went to Denny's to meet up with Raph, Will, Katie, Aaron, Winters, and Cyrus. Everyone eventually got some gas and headed out to Cyrus' Condo in the heart of N.O. On the way there, we smoked and chillax while Will's ricer was swervin side to side. Cyrus was doing pretty good except he hit some nails on the way there, but fortunately enough it didn't phase him until he got to the condo. Good times. We got to Cyrus' Condo about 10:30-11am and proceeded to hang out and watch TV while waiting for Alex Scharr to get to the Hizzouse. Once Alex got there, we then rolled over to Margeritaville to eat. That took another hour to wait for cabs to get to the house. The Cab Company thought we ordered 2 cabs, when in fact we ordered 3. I blame Cyrus for the inconvenience, but no biggie. Once at margeritaville, I ordered some cajun alfredo. Everyone else ordered burgers and such. Good meal. Then we just started walking around and down Decatur and finally ended up at Urban Outfitters/Tower Records. I bought myself a copy of Dazed and Confused(movie) and we all ended up going to Cyrus' condo to watch it. Great Film. After that we went to Juan's Flying Burrito for some good hood mexican food. It's was pretty good, I couldn't finish my last steak taco though. In the end, Raphael devoured the taco. Nuts.
After all the eating we ended up back at Cyrus' condo. It was 11 pm at that time. From Cyrus' condo, Will, Randall, My Brother, Aaron, and I headed down to Bourbon St. I soon realized that Bourbon St. post hurricane on Tuesday is not like it used to be. But it was still pretty fun to walk down there. We ended up just walking and then taking a cab back to the condo. Then Randall, My Brother, and I headed back from N.O. to Ocean Springs.
Wednesday Morning 1-2AM. We ended up finally getting back at Randall's house and then playing some guitar heroes and going to sleep. I slept in as it was my first time sleeping in for a while. After that, I took my brother and I home and just hanging out for a while. Then I called K-Glide and Lil' Ty for some action. I went over to Kenneth's and low and behold, there was a Keg there. I don't remember much, but I was drunk and having a good time over there. Just a lil' get-together that night.
Thursday Afternoon 11PM. We went back to Kenneth's and started a huge crawfish party. We decided we were going to get about 45 pounds of crawfish and just make it extremely spicy and delicious. And Plus we weren't done with the Keg yet. Hanlinator and I went to Taranto's to get the crawfish. We ended up with only about 35 pounds due to insufficient funds. It's all gravy though, it ended up being more than we needed. Kenneth, Robert, and Nikki ended up cooking the crawfish while Kevin, Tyson, and I were playing HOF. I'm pretty sure I kicked ass, but there were times where my ass was handed to me. Mainly by Kevin, but throughout the night as Kevin started getting drunk, Tyson ended up winning. But Martin came back pretty good too. Oh yeah. If I can recall, Me and Tyson played Super Monkey Ball 2 for the world cup of soccer, and I whooped his ass. Good times. Another afternoon and night of getting wasted. :)
Friday Afternoon 2PM - I ended up buying my brother a Sony Ericsson W600I. The phone is pretty badass. Then I got some money from my mother and then headed out of town. I got back in Austin, TX at midnight. It was a good drive though.
Saturday - Work. Work work work.
So that was the end of my vacation. Now I'm back in the ATX and ready to party like crazy.
