[ Sometime soon after the Captain's "announcement, Sasuke appears on the network briefly. ]

...That's just fucking rich. I guess it's a good thing that I honestly do enjoy walking, you blue-eyed bastard.

Well I... [trails off, taking time to really think about that]

... My eyesight...

[ her eyes? not what Sasuke was expecting; he looks at her, faintly curious ]

Your eyesight?

[she's growing alarmed. It wasn't noticeable at first since it's been years, but her eyesight is back to the way it was before the angelic transformation... and that means...]

[her eyes shut in concentration for a moment, but nothing happens. And when she opens them, she's obviously shocked]

I can't... my wings...

[ Sasuke remembers the wings... but he also remembers that being right at the moment of his groveling curse, so the memory is pretty fuzzy. He can, however, surmise the meaning of "I can't... my wings..." ]

I'm sorry. This current limitation appears to be quite thorough in maintaining the only way we will move around is on foot, and on foot alone.

[ though wheelchairs and the like would probably work, but that was a tangental thought, and not helpful; thus not voiced. ]

I see.

Well, I don't mind walking, really! And I don't use my wings much anymore.

But my eyesight and hearing... it's been a long time since they've been normal. [spoken mostly to herself.]

[ Sasuke can sympathize... to an extent. ]

With any luck, it will only be temporary.

[ so of course he jumps to an earlier comment; ]

Walking isn't particularly bothersome. Everything will take longer, but so be it. It's the possibility this change in the situation is masking something else that bothers me.

[ he turns away from the sphere, back to the side table he'd been working on right after the Captain's announcement. His statement is meant to be more a personal observation than a declaration for Colette's benefit. ]

None of the maps match up.
