Houston, we have movement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sep 06, 2009 10:03

Fell asleep at 4 a.m. because there was so much movement and I was too excited to miss ones. For days after my first solid, undeniable baby movement experience, we finally both got to feel a solid push/kick from the outside of my lower abdomen. I lightly tagged the baby back, and then noticed she/he was interacting with me talking/singing/laughing. I turned up some music (harpist playing that I had recorded the other night) and right now as I type and sit pretty still I feel baby dancing around! Glee.

It almost feels like when you're tummy is about to growl from hunger, but lower than the belly button. Similar to gas moving around, (which I never felt move around to the extent I do since being pregnancy, not to mention in weird places!).

I woke up at 8 a.m. only to feel baby again, and again...my mommy friends told me I'll get tired of it eventually and politely ask baby to not move, poke, wander in spaces as he/she gets bigger and hurts mommy, but for now I told them to let me have my fun. We'll worry about later when later is here.

September 22nd, anatomy ultrasound, 1 p.m. I changed my mind and want to know. Maybe I will change it again. I do that a lot.

I keep cleaning and re-cleaning, because I don't know what to do with all my energy these last few days. My mom says I am nesting. Is it too early? Haven't really read about this, but it seems common amongst other women in my pregnancy group.
