Best...birthday...ever
wow
Well, for those of you who don't know, i turn 18 today! woot!
So to celebrate, Mobi's power steering bit the dust! Thanks old buddy, you've always been there for me :)
Anyways, i registered for the draft today! sweet!
I had already celebrated with my family on the 4th of july, my mom got me the coolest backpack i have ever laid eyes upon. Period. It's from EMS. And it kicks so much ass. Anyways, moving on. Annie and Dan scored me the acoustic maroon 5 album! It's also incredibly excellent. Mad props.
And then there was Mike B. The ultimate present. Wow. I would write it down, but there's no way that english words could summarize its greatness. He = A king among men.
And then of course, Kat spoiled me incredibly :) I got not only a collection of thoughtful and incredibly excellent and hilarious gifts (including a red sox cap that ACTUALLY FITS MY ENORMOUS KIMBALL SKULL!! I never thought it possible!!), but i also got to spend a good part of my day AND my yesterday with her, which is pretty much the most excellent birthday present a guy could ask for.
Wow, a lot has changed since my 17th birthday. Crazy. Suffice it to say that i wouldn't go back, if given the option. I don't think it gets any better than right now. Ever.
Well, i'm getting euphoric. I'm off to revel in the coolness of stuff. That's right, you heard me!
Tommorow morning my train leaves New Haven at 8:45 for Washington D.C. and my orientation! I'll be back saturday night! I'm kinda nervous, but not really, because its not the first time i've traveled alone to D.C. But nonetheless, it's going to be very weird. Say, if you end a sentence with Washington D.C., do you need an additional period? Example: I enjoy Washington D.C..
That just looks like an ellipsis (...) that got cut short. Hmmmmmm... What a world we live in!
Thanks for all the Happy Birthday good-vibes! They worked, it's been one of the greatest birthdays on record!
Holler back at me,
Rob
