I'm back from Dragon*Con!

Omg I miss it already.

I had an amazing time and just so you know, I asked EJO THAT question :)

I asked him firstly if he thought that there were any aspects of Laura Roslin and William Adama that current politicians could learn from. His reply was to laugh and go 'Yeah!' and then he started talking about how great Mary

Yeah, his hands are very soft. :) I swear, it took all my stength not to beg him to come back to England with me. :)

And as best I can describe, regarding his reaction and considering that I had to walk near to the back to the microphone, he looked down and seemed to briefly weigh up what to say. No one in the audience said a thing when I asked, they were all kind of quiet so I guess it wasn't just me who was dying to know if he had anything to say. He said 'well' and 'that's a spoiler...' and then paused 'so I can't really answer that' (paraphrased as I can't remember his exact words' but they're pretty darn close). From where I was, it did look like he was kind of easy and relaxed about it. He's a very open man from what I've seen and if he's not happy about something or he doesn't like the way something has gone, you know about it through his body language and what he says. From what he said here and from the way he seemed quite relaxed about the question, I think (in my opinion) he seemed satisfied with the A/R story line. So fingers crossed this means we get in some good A/R scenes and some sort of nice conclusion. Even if it ends in one or both of them dying, it'll be nice if they can have some time together before hand.

When the video comes out (which I'm sure it will do eventually) then I'm sure people will all have different opinions. Personally, I think he was reasonably satisfied from what I could see of his body language.

It would have taken all my strength not to faint..let alone beg him to come back to England (or france) with me ;-) I joke I am sure I would be calm and collected until after the event! LOL

I really believe you can tell when he genuinely isn't happy with something, and he has already said that we would be happy when asked if A/R have sex by another person earlier this weekend. LOL! Thats a good sign right?
I think also he would have said something like prepare yourselves, although he doesn't give away plots he gives away more by mere comments like that. If he looked calm and relaxed thats because we will get what we all want.

So anyway, I have never been to a convention, I would love to go to one. What is it really like? Relaxed, people nice etc? If EJO and Mary were doing one together I would seriously consider going.

It was all kinds of awesome. People there are great! Friendly, welcoming, helpful and total geeks so I fitted right in :) In fact, I had to geek it up a little :) The dealers rooms are fun, I bought some funny tshrits :)

I think that regardless of how BSG ends for A/R, whether they die or just one of them dies or even if one kills the other, I think we can expect at least some nice screen time for their relationship before hand.

I think it will be both or neither dying...If they had to die I would love some joint sacrifice scene going on. But I think they both survive somehow...maybe that just pure optimism but hey I am an optimist maximum! We are going to get something A/R that will blow our socks off, I can feel it..not just a kiss or something like that, but something major. OH LOOK AT THE OPTIMISM

I am optimistic about them having some kind of relationship, but I'm thinking that there might be some kind of dramatic death in there for Laura Roslin and an effort by Admiral Adama to keep his people going but he slowly declines and dies in battle, only to be reunited with Laura Roslin in some kind of afterlife :D

About the New Caprica thing. EJO is directing it, is that what he meant or we are actually going to see more of the cast, like himself and Mary in it aswell?

EJO is directing it as far as I can tell. I don't know if he has any scenes. From what I could gather, it's New Caprica as the setting. I wasn't sure what he was talking about at first, he kept saying the 'movie' and I was like 'A BSG movie? WTF?!' and the lady next to me told me he was talking about the one set during the Cylon occupation on New Caprica. Then he said 'films' so I'm guessing he means there will be more than one.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure the mini movies coming up are set during the occupation on New Caprica. The only people not really in it would be EJO (hence he's directing) and Jamie Bamber (who will apparently going to be busy filming a new show so can't take time out to do this one as well). But that's okay because Adama wasn't on New Caprica during the occupation and neither was Lee, so it makes sense.

Not sure what they'll say about Dualla as she wasn't on New Caprica either, but I guess all will be explained later on.

EJO seemed very excited about the movie, he kept mentioning it. He seems really focused and indicated that work on the movie really begins next week. I'm not sure if he means the writing or any filming? Not sure at all. But he joked that he had to look for work now he's not on BSG but then he said 'Well..until next week when we the movie really get's going' or something along those lines.

Even if Adama isn't seen on the movie, EJO's influence will certainly be obvious and who knows, maybe Laura Roslin will spend all her time dreamign about him? LOL! We can hope.

I think so far they have quite a few of the cast onboard, not sure about Mary McDonnell but if anyone is going to see her when she's at that other con later on (next month?) that's always something they could ask.
