As promised, I have finally finished this fic. Truth and Deceit Chapter three will follow later today.

I hope you enjoy it.

Spoilers: None, it's totally AU and 'what-if' guesswork.

Warnings: Angsty? Well, I'm the one writing it so you can be pretty sure there's angst in there :) I am working on a happier fic to balance things out.

::hugs::

THANK YOU ::more hugs:: I love hearing when someone reads my fic :) It's sad, I know, but it makes me happy to know someone has enjoyed something I wrote :)

As for imaging this happening, me too. It's really a sad thing, but I've always thought that if aliens (or fellow humans) were out there in space, they should give Earth a wide berth because there are way too many people who are racist/sexist/all kinds of other 'ist and xenophobia is a big problem.

That's always made me question what Earth will be like in the show. After all, all the characters in BSG seem to just assume that the people of Earth will welcome them.

*hugs back*

Yes. If you think of it... the people of the twelve colonies lived on twelve separate planets, had about seven times as many people as us, and looked just as varied, and of course they had their own "caste" problems, but they still managed a unified language, government, and people could leave their caste... without giving too much of a varied culture. They put us to shame really. XD

So true. I think they would take one look at our planet and go 'Um..you know what...Cylon occupied New Caprica wasn't such a bad place really...' :)

Well, I just think we can learn a thing or two from them. ; ) Maybe granting the UN a bit more recognition, learning to tolerate differences, and to appreciate the fact that we have yet to create a race of mostly homicidal robots. (^_^)

LOL! As far as we know :) I don't know, there are some people out there who may well be Cylons. Not naming anyone, but there are a fair few politicians and country leaders who are looking pretty darn suspicious :)
