WAS IT NOT SO AWESOME? And I kind of loved that even after that she's STILL pissed at him lol. Poor Bill, trying so hard. And poor Laura having to deal with frakwits like Zarek and Lee.

I know what you mean. What is going on with Zarek? I think he expected something different from Lee but I don't know what. Either he's trying to sabotage Laura's presidency or he's trying to manipulate things a certain way. I just don't know which way he's trying to go. He's an interesting character, that's for sure.

Ugh, Lee and Zarek made me so mad. I mean, all he has to do is wait for Laura to die and then the Presidency is his; why is he trying to sabotage her?

I also didn't like the way Lee calmly drops into the conversation about how people are wanting things signed and sealed before Laura dies. It's taken for granted. I would LOVE to see them all shocked when she somehow recovers ::sighs:: I wish.

On the other hand, Bill reading to Laura was something good and intimate.

Lee is such a tool sometimes! He is much less irritating when he's out flying things. Which is where he needs to go.

Bah! Minor disagreement. After last week's meltdown, I would much rather prefer to see them end on a note like in this week's ep.

And, to be honest, I can totally see why she would still be disgruntled about it. Just from the few minutes of questions that we saw her answering, there is a massive amount of attention being focused on that missing ship and it cannot look good (for her, the government, or the military) that have to explain (or not explain, as the case may be) what is going on.

It is true, he was much nicer when he was out saving their collective asses. :D

Zarek... has his own agenda. He always has. I think he and Laura are doing the "keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer" thing. (I agree, he IS an interesting character, one of my favorites on the show. That and Richard Hatch = <3) If he was REALLY out to get her, I think he would have done it on New Caprica or sometime in Season 3; instead he tried to protect her and willingly handed power back, while guaranteeing he had something along the way, of course. It shall be very interesting to see how this arc plays out.

You're right, if he were out to get her (in the non-A/Z way) then he could have bumped her off long before now. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this plays out, but I've included it in my latest fic. I'll upload it later to my LJ. Warning, it includes speculation regarding Roslin, Adama, Zarek, the future of the ships and the rest of the season :)

Yes! Those words were interesting. And it makes me think of Laura. I think he was talking about himself through that. :D:D:D I'm being very hopeful. XD
