This is not intended to provide a play-by-play soundtrack to the story; e.g. Track 1 does not reflect the action in the first chapter, the final track does not summarise the conclusion etc. Rather, the songs were put together in this way for how they sound next to each other, to create a more coherent mix.

Most of these songs relate to the relationship between Pete and Patrick, though there are those that are more appropriate for Spencer and Jon or Brendon and Ryan, or even all three relationships. I’ll leave it for you to decide which those might be. :-)

   This one IS the Peterick relationship in this. OMFG. ♥ !

   Spencer/Jon post murder no. 4
4. Shining Light - Ash lyrics
   This song is kind of sexy. I'm seeing the Peterick VD scene when listening to this. XD
5. Bizarre Love Triangle - New Order lyrics
   This one is so much the Spencer/Jon storyline for me. With a side of Ryan/Spencer backstory. Another really sexy song.
6. Don’t Falter - Mint Royale lyrics
   I'm keeping this one for the Brendon/Ryan mirror story to this fic. Such a happy song. Love it.
7. On and On - Longpigs lyrics
   This one too. God, I want to start writing the Brendon/Ryan mirror right now. This is very spot on for how I see Brendon's POV in this.
8. The Ship Song - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds lyrics
   "We define our moral ground / But when I crawl into your arms / Everything comes tumbling down" *is dead from how perfectly this illustrates the Peterick in this fic for me*
9. Parallel Lines - Kings of Convenience lyrics
   And here's how I see the Ryan POV. Beautiful lyrics.
10. I’ll Be Here When You Wake - The Reindeer Section lyrics
    This is a beautiful song. Love the oboe (I think it's an oboe) especially. Depending on how you read the lyrics, this song could work for any of the pairings. Really cool.
11. Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart - Marc Almond and Gene Pitney lyrics
    First thought about this song: "OMG, it's the killer's song!" Something about the way it sounds. Kind of creepy, in a very good way :-D
12. Olympian - Gene lyrics
    Okay, no, this is the killer's song! This is the Angel killer/Bill backstory set to music to a t. One of my big regrets about this fic was that the AK/Bill story could never fully come out because I don't have access to the right POV's. This song just wrote that story. Completely amazing.

These were things I thought about when listening to this soundtrack. I'm sure other people react way differently, which is kind of the best thing about adding music to fic. This is a great soundtrack. All new music for me too, which is even more win. Again, alchemywow, thank you. So, so much. ♥
