LATELY:
last weekend:
Nerissa told me that the short film she made about my altar project won second place at a film festival.
went and did a beach cleanup with a cold (and made my cold worse and had to call in sick to work). rescued 35 baby sabel palms and built an Earth Day altar, with Nerissa filming.
left in time to go to a fair at Snyder park 5 minutes before they closed, which was fine because i still got to go in the petting zoo and pet ducks and chickens and a llama, and a tortoise, and a baby donkey, and bunnies and pygmy goats, and a sheep.
sheep are fugly with their woolies shaved off.
a goat tried to eat my purse. and my shirt. and my hair. then he jumped over the fence and tried to escape into the parking lot.
finally did real damage to myself at work. rolled over my foot with a CGW cart. doesn't hurt much but there's a squishy spot on the top, and my toes go numb when i touch it. what does that mean, exactly?
this weekend:
woke up @ 7 to set up for the Beltane festival at the UU, then ran to work to do face painting for 3 hours for Turnoff Week. then ran back to Beltane to man the craft table. Richard was such a good boy, he helped watch the table and haul boxes and chairs all day. we made 65 bucks between us.
bought a cloth shopper with a peace sign on it from a crazy old hippy, and a camo-print girl-utilikilt with ribbons on the pockets and crochet lace trim from a crazy younger hippy, who bought it in Scotland in the '80s.
the tag says: Wash with like colours. Tumble dry. KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE.

i dont even know what to do with myself.
