To EVERYBODY to says that all of the election talk should end can eat me. This is not some sort of middle school election. This is the f-ing president of the united states. Which is better: a president that lies and denies rights (Bush), or a misunderstood candidate (Kerry)?

I'm going with the latter choice. You don't know if you would be pissy if Kerry won, because he didn't. Bush won because Americans are idiots who want to dominate the world. If Kerry never "clearly stated" his plan... then Bush didn't state his at all. All he did, along with the rest of conservatives, is point at Kerry and tell him he's wrong, wishy washy, and too liberal. All of which make Bush look like the better candidate.

Then we have Bush. Uneducated, "moral" although sending Americans to thier death in a meaningless war, and prejudice. That's right, I said prejudice. The middle east doesn't hate us just because we exist (well, maybe now they do). They hate us cause we're always messing with their affairs. If they don't want to be liberated, who are we to make that decision for them? America has enough problems to deal with without screwing up world affairs. Who are we to ignore the U.N.? The only hope we had to recover from that was through Kerry, and now plenty, I'd say a good half, aren't feeling too good about that.

How exactly does a gay Republican function, knowing that by being such, he will never get certain, if any, rights? To me, it just doesn't make sense.

The only thing half the country voting for Bush shows is that a half of the country is ignorant.

Also what is a just cause to fight? Correct me if I'm wrong, but all fights are based on strong beliefs. I'd rather have someone fight because he feels he's right, than fight because everyone else does it, out of desire, or because someone tells him to...

People have the right to vote, just as they have the right to voice their opinion and fight for their rights.

I am a hardcore liberal, and I'd be willing to admit Bush is a good president. That is, if he was.
