1. We're working on a project on Bollywood for our research paper topic. Why? I dont know! It was originally an AD related thing, wanting to survey the influence of print advertisements on buying habits of women in SIngapore. BUT... We got conned into doing this! (the prof is Indian, and she is working on a book on Bollywood etc etc, and we will be published as part of it with credit. Ahem!)
2. My house hunt ends. I'm pleased. Everyone's pleased (including my profs, i'm guessing. LOL.) Now, for the moving... :|
3. I've discovered super-fattening Kaya buns at the local bakery. It has green coloured coconut in the centre of the buns.
4. I'm in love with Laksa, the one available at this one place in Holland Village. Such yumminess in a fish soup with noodle broth wasn't expected.
5. Crisp, sun-dried and mildly flavoured Mermaid fish is crunchy like potato chips. Excellent for popping into mouth when wandering aimlessly, window shopping. No fishy breath, no aftertaste! :D
6. I'm gradually coming to like and love Open Office.
7. I'm not in the bottom of the class. My tests have been more than satisfactory. *keeps fingers crossed for the rest of the year*
8. Crabs are still love. Jumbo rules! The pepper crab is excellent! (I think i've now eaten at all the Jumbos in town! ;P)
9. A HUGE chunk of my friends (i'm still making friends), are Nam's friends from all over the place. Suddenly everyone seems to be relocating to Singapore. And all of us have been thrown together by the force that is the Namish! All hail the coven that comprises of Namrata's friends in Singapore! Now, if only the Namish would come live in Singapore as well, life would be complete!
