So, i get back from a 3-day trip and am greeted by a PILE of dishes, 2 days old. Why? coz apparently the maid decided to skip town, which resulted in EVERY utensil being dirtied (by flatmate)!
So, in order for me to have a cup of tea, i had to dig through the crud-lined dishes, excavate the tea-vessel, wash it and go about my business. or alternately, make tea in my sauce-pan, which was the only thing not dirtied.
On calling her at work, i was informed that she had a couple of ppl over. hmmmmmmmm... i always have my friends over too... but... I NEVER LEAVE DISHES IN THE SINK.
Hey, thats maybe just coz i'm a clean freak.
Maybe i should learn to be a slob too and leave utensils in the sink, growing various bacteria, giving off a horrendous odour... but then, i've not been brought up like that. What a Pity!
So, this grumbler (that'll be me), had to come back from work and scrub things. Which i did, and mean bitch that I am, din't do hers, and WHY THE HELL SHOULD I?
I've now left POST-IT notes on my CLEAN utensils with explicit instructions to NOT use them.
If a person can't respect my stuff, then they can't use it.
Why am I so miffed? Coz this is NOT the first time this has happend. I've been dealing with this "Dirtyness" for a while now. The stove in the kitchen ALWAYS has bits of food (that she has cooked) dropped all over it. I can tell what has been cooked just be looking at the stove! What a feast for the Roaches family!!!
Those of you who know the old flatmate story will know that there were issues there as well, but those issues were boy-related, not cleanliness related. Thankfully, my old flatmate was CLEAN!
I'm sure my flatmate has lots to say about me as well. But NOTHING, and i mean NOTHING beats being Disgustingly Unclean.
How can one be like that? *shudders*
I'm counting down now - I've 7 months to go in this place.
And I can now TOTALLY identify with most of this blog owner's rants:
Things I Hate About My Flatmate, Check out
THIS post in particular ;P
I thank my stars that my luck isn't as bad. *giggles*
I'm sure most of you have similar stories to tell. Do. It'll be fun and will cheer me up.
