moved!
Okay, in trying to update this at least semi-regularly.. I will tell you what I've been doing the past few days! Yes. You know you want to read it.
I've moved! And what a crazy day that was. From the pod being late to missed flights to insane packing efficiency to ridiculously heavy bags ... teamwork actually did save the day. I never would have made it otherwise.
After moving, I crashed for like 3 hours and went to the barn. Holy horsy, Scout was really well behaved despite me riding without gloves. I'm going to miss my buddy!!! He's going to have a great time while I'm gone though. We took off his show shoes already and he's just chilling out. He'll probably be in a field with the babies for 3 weeks. I don't think we'll show again until mid-September, and I'm pretty sure we could just pull him out of the field when I get back and have him in decent shape in a week.
I turned him out after I rode today (since he's not wearing his monster show shoes, no problem) and he just ran around posing for like an hour. It was hilarious.
Oooookkkkkk now it's time to figure out what is wrong with my car.
