The garden I planted a Jackal's home is growing well. I can't wait to see what some of those seeds become. Maybe, I can keep some of them and give them to Mom and Dad next year, so they can grow them too. I'll help them

I'm glad to see you've been enjoying working with the plants and seeds I brought back. You might not be familiar with some of the things that end up growing from them, but since you seem excited to see what comes up, I'll keep from spoiling any of it for you. Just remember they all come from a very warm and tropical place, so they'll need to be watered a lot more than plants normally grown around here.
Give Kayo a bit of credit, though. She might still be acting unnecessarily standoffish with you, but she's doing better than she had before. I'd dare say she even missed you as well in her own odd way.
I'll remember that. And how warm? Is it a place where I wouldn't get really sleepy in the winter?
I guess I missed Kayo too. I still don't understand why she hates me to much. I think maybe it has something to do with you...or being a girl...or me being a reptile...Girls don't really like reptiles...
Well, we never really had much of a winter in the sense that it is in this country. More like just wet and dry seasons. I remember being rather caught off guard by the seasons here when we first moved to Stella. But to answer you question, yes, you probably would be able to handle the winter months better there.
It might be jealousy in some way, I suppose, though I don't understand why she targets you specifically. Perhaps it is a girl thing, though. As much as I try to comprehend, I'm not going to pretend like I always get their reasoning.
If you would like to. Next time I plan to go there, you're more than welcome to come with me.
I...suppose it's possible? I've heard of people picking on the ones they secretly like, but that's typically something done by small children, not a pair who are a few years shy of 20. ...And considering it was Hiroshi-san who told you this, while I'm sure he does know his share about...a great number of things in relation to that, I would still take his words with a grain of salt. Especially since he seems to enjoy making things up at times.
I'm sure the rest of my family would like you a great deal. It's quite a long way to my homeland, though, and that would be a lot of time spent riding in a boat. So before we even start considering that, we should probably start getting you used to being on a boat first. I'd hate for you to spend your first trip overseas feeling seasick the entire journey. So perhaps we'll give you your first taste at sea travel to somewhere a little closer sometime soon.
If that's what you believe, then I won't argue against it. Just be careful if you plan to talk to Kayo about it. I'm not quite sure how she would react considering all this.
If you want to try doing so, I can have you join Coby and a few of the other dock hands down there. I won't always be around if you go over there, though. So you'll have to listen to what they say and make a lot of decisions for yourself.
...I imagine some men with modern outlooks would say so, but I suppose I'm old-fashioned. My father always taught me that a gentleman is the one to make the first move.
I'll talk to him then about giving you a tour around the docks and our main ships, then. You can decide after you see everything they do if you want to join them.
Anyone who wishes to be can be a gentleman. It's just a word for a polite man who treats people around him kindly.
I'm sure you'll do fine. Just be considerate of them and your surroundings and the same will be done for you. We have plenty of neighbors on the docks, so be polite to them even if some of them might seem rude.
Of course~ Everyone from the king himself down to a slave can be a gentleman. No single class claims ownership over that.
Making things up? Kuwahara-san, you deal me a great insult with your harsh words. I am never anything but the most honest of men. Especially with my beloved little innocent and overly naive trusting brother~
Somehow, I can't help but feel a great deal of sarcasm and insincerity directed my way... Though I think I'll refrain from playing whatever game you're trying with me, as I highly doubt your beloved little brother would enjoy watching it.
Hey, wanna know what would be awesomely adorable~? If kid brother goes and gets your caribou chick knocked up after all of this~ And don't worry~! I'll tell him *all* about how to make it happen so he'll be good and prepared~
Give Kayo a bit of credit, though. She might still be acting unnecessarily standoffish with you, but she's doing better than she had before. I'd dare say she even missed you as well in her own odd way.

Big brother says it's because she like likes me and doesn't know how to show it. Hiroshi knows stuff about that so it's probably true.

That's what Hiroshi said too. And he's never wrong. I trust him, so don't bad mouth him, okay. He wouldn't tell me something that wasn't true.

I know better than that. Girls are supposed to make the first move, right?

Oh...I didn't know that. I guess it's okay because I'm not a gentleman.
