Charley, Charley, Charley

Okay, first I'm glad everyone I know is not dead (that means they are alive for those *ahem* special readers) and none of those people I know lost their house. Yay! You are all troopers. Good for you!

Now, I'm actually pretty pissed that Charley did not come this way. Now, I'm not really wanting to have objects impale me at a high velocity or live in a house without a roof, but I was all ready for the end of the world. It's kind of a let down when you are ready to possibly get blown away (literally) and then its not even windy. I mean really. It didn't even rain hard and the wind was barely enough to rustle the leaves. And we went through all the trouble to board up windows at the last minute and everything...

The other reason I'm a little upset with Mr.Charley is that I feel really, REALLY bad for all those people south of here. I mean if it DID hit the bay area it would have been bad. But most of the people around here were at least ready. Mostly everyone south wasn't as prepared since it was supposed to just graze by them. Oh well. Poor people. It especially sucks for all the people that went inland to get away and ended up getting smacked in the face by it...

So I was banned from leaving the house today and yesterday (I didn't understand the yesterday thing, but whatever). So tomorrows sat...SO I'm going to be out alllllllll day. Or at least try to be. hehe I am still searching for my perfect pair of boots. And I haven't been to dinner and a movie in awhile...so hopefully it will be a fun filled day out of the house!

Latas playas!

PS Does anyone else think that it would be funny if Charley had hit and ripped apart a Wonka Candy Factory? I mean, I don't know if we have any around here...but MAN would that have been funny!
