Jesus, what a sad day. Another hero, another amazing talent I owe my life to (in that indirect, his music saved me several times kind of way).
Prince was his own genre, his own form of performance art. His music helped me through some shitty fucking times in my life and inspired me to write one of my favorite fics, Without the Hook.
