Looks like Bucky's going after Tony. If they use the same reason from the comic... :(

These screenshots look like a flashback to how Bucky became the WS. I wonder if somehow they use Wanda to get into Bucky's mind. Kinda cool if they do that.

After rewatching that trailer 50 times & reading comments on Tumblr, I'm not quite sure it's Tony who's the original target there. I like the sound of the Winter Soldier being "Sputnik-ed" and going after someone else, Tony stepping in the way. The motion of the gun in Bucky's hand starts low and off to the side, Tony grabbing it before Bucky fires. (Like I said, way too into this.) That, and I am dreading the ending of Civil War for the exact reason you point out. I'll be heartbroken if that happens. :(

ETA: I should say I also like the idea that Tony's in the wrong place at the wrong time (or maybe it's deliberate) and that's just 2016!Bucky when confronted by someone he honestly doesn't give a fuck about standing in his way.

I love the idea of getting Wanda inside that head! Scariest place she's probably been, apart from Natasha's (and no sign that history/pairing is going to be explored, alas).

I live in hope for an eventual Bucky-Natasha. Sebastian is contracted for SIX more movies after all.

I think Wanda would be the only way Cap could witness Bucky's time as the WS. The trailer implied Steve was "there" and not just being told about it. That means something mental going on.

All the signs point to a sad ending. It really will suck though if Steve and Bucky are reunited just in time for Steve to exit stage right. :(
