Well, Frankly, I Fucking Loved It--For What That's Worth. . .
Went to Man of Steel and, like the subject line states, fucking loved it. I don't know if I'm looking at the film a different way than a lot of folks are out there or what, but the issues I expected to bug me going in--didn't or weren't there. I say give it a shot if you're on the fence, but then I guess I'm apparently biased. Anyway, A+ in my book. Couple points could've been different, tighter, but nothing big, just nitpicky things. I just--really, really liked it.
Also, I think from now on it should be a "rule" that Clark grins like a fucking shark cos Cavill's got the same fangs as Welling, and it made me smile. There's our Clark! :)
It was also nice to have an awesome song pop up to "bridge" (heh--bridge) the gap between present-day!Clark and Smallville!Clark. Also, Lana and Pete and Whitney--ha!
