I liked certain aspects of tonight's ep. It reminded me pleasantly at times of the Percy Jackson series, which I enjoyed. I also like how excited and proud Dean is with regard to the Men of Letters. Also, Sam being awkward with the kid was a nice surprise. I like when the guys have normal flaws.
However, I could have definitely done without the misogyny. Show has a history here, and tonight was just further proof that for some reason the writers don't know how to write women--and seemingly don't care to learn how, seeing as how this is the tail-end of season eight. *le sigh*
