Hard Not to Romanticize Death In This Instance. . .
Arguably my favorite entrance ever is by Death in season five of Supernatural. Hell, I wrote a love story for the guy. Great character!
I'm also having a hard time limiting myself to a small fic, mainly due to the number of similarities between the two shows in terms of characters and story arcs. Here, I'm referring primarily to Merle and Daryl, and how they're a nightmarish fun-house version of Dean and Sam, with their mother dying in a fire and the two of them being--you know, rough and all. Also, if you've seen season three, I'm reminded of Carl and the particulars of his journey. I'm also thinking I'll have to approach this thing like it's one in a universe, one tale in a series, kinda like the Thursday's Child stories maybe--complete unto itself but open for more. There's too much otherwise. So, yes/yes? *nods*
In other news, brunch with my mom tomorrow. She wants to buy me new boots afterward. Oh, the things one suffers for family, right? ;)
