SpN Story Idea and Ghost Story Rec--I Wish I Could Write This!

Anyone else fondly remember that chilling as fuck ghost story called The Lady In White with a cute as a button Lukas Haas? Anybody else wondering if that's a Supernatural story yet and, if not, why not? If I somehow get back into the SpN groove, that would actually be a story I could write. I would love to adapt that film. Seriously, it's the best ghost story I've ever seen--not the scariest, just the absolute best. Also, I have it on good authority that it presents a pretty accurate portrait of life in the early 60s--minus the ghosts, of course. Plus, brothers! Older, annoying, jerk-ish but caring and protective brother! Nerdy, bookish younger brother! Single father with mother having died tragically! And more spookiness and heartbreak than you can shake a stick at! And it holds up surprisingly well 24 years after it was released. Sure, the FX are sometimes laughably outdated, but the story, style, tone, and suspense are topnotch, and the acting is great. This ain't no, uh, Paranormal Activity? That's ghosts, right? All I see are quick cuts and night vision, so I assume it's ghosts. . .

Uh, anyway, great movie. You should check it out.

Also, I will never hear Bing Crosby's "Did You Ever See a Dream Walking?" without shivering. Brrrrr, just thinking about it!
