Oh my, I love that. I love that our Clark was so flummoxed by the question of Lex's goodness - he's finally outgrown his high school judgmentalism and come to appreciate how complex that question is to answer. And I love his answer!

Awesome! I'm so glad you liked his answer because that's what the whole piece was centered around. I feel like there's so much potential with two distinct Clarks in very different, yet similar states of mind.

And their Lex-es, man. . . ouch for both!

I love that even now Lex shakes up Clark's world. He's grown so much in two years and has now come to see the complexities of the world(s) around him. This chapter is the perfect coda to Luthor and Kent.

My anticipation for what's to come is ridiculous. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Hee! Your pestering is most definitely the reason why this fic is here. The idea for an epic (b)romance between two versions of Clark just would not leave me alone, and then I let it slip to you, and -- voila! Instant, insistent encouragement gives rise to cool things.

Ah, thanks! Clark's answer was actually the first thing I had locked in. I built the whole section(/story) around that realization of his. XD
