attempt at an actual update.
last night was good times. me & josh went down to java joint, and as low as my tolerance is for alcohol, my tolerance is even lower for strong coffee; my nerves were noticeably jittered, and i found myself planted at the super mario brothers machine, frantically jostling the joystick. as mario descended down into a timewarp transport pipe, i felt as if i had fallen into my own timewarp as well, backlit by the familiar generic NES soundtrack that is so irreversibly engrained into my memories of childhood. it was nice.
afterwards, i drew a really lame picture in the community sketchpad of winnie the pooh rising from a red balloon to watch the butterflies (i stole this image from the book "the tao of pooh," and for some reason i really like it). josh drew a more impressive detailed picture of the chair in front of us; if i could pick a single natural talent to have it would probably be drawing, but it was never in the cards.
then me & josh & brittany went down to 4-4 & devoured a half-mushroom/half-cheese pizza in my dad's jeep while listening to a 90s pop nostalgia mix. exhibit A:
then, we picked up a girl named tiffany who i haven't seen since high school and all went on a directionless drive down rt. 2. i think josh & i traumatized the girls with our dialogue, but it was all taken in stride.
right now i'm compiling an alt. folk/country mix to waste away my sunday to. i need to run some errands. so far:
