Woke up knowing we had to leave today. Sad. We had bagels and leftovers for breakfast, and started to clean up. We signed the guestbook, and made sure everything was ok, and left. We had reservations for Green's, a vegetarian restaurant in San Francisco, so we drove there first. We were a bit early, so we walked around the park nearby first. it was cold! After being in the warm sun for the past few days, the san francisco wind and fog was quite chilly. I wished I had socks. Mind you, this is when the rest of the west coast was having the heat wave, with temp's in the 100's in areas it really should have been in the high 80's. Yet still nice in san francisco.
Amy came to meet us for brunch at greens, which was nice as I didn't know her very well and she's one of Lien's oldest friends. Jackie had mimosa, and I almost got one, but decided I wasn't in the mood. I'd had enough to drink this weekend! I think we were all a bit tired, as brunch was kinda quiet. The restaurant was nice though. I think one of my favorite cooks started Greens, can't remember her name right now. I don't think it was Deborah Madison, was it? Anyway. After brunch, we went to Ghiradelli Square for some chocolate. Very crowded there. I guess on a sunday, what did we expect? After Ghiradelli's, we went to Golden Gate park and walked through the botanical gardens. That was nice. jackie and I played frisbee a bit, but I think we were all a bit worn out. Then we went wine shopping, and dropped Lien off at her house. The rest of us drove to Oakland, turned in the car, and hung out in the oakland airport. There was a surprisingly good food booth there, with really good vegetarian burritoes. Yum. Check in and flight was uneventful (yay!) and we were home.
