It was just about two months ago when we found out...lung cancer. She was originally admitted to the hospital for possible pneumonia, but the x-ray showed a suspicious mass. Further tests proved the worst. Her lungs had to be drained twice last month. Just now, when I called Steve to wish him a happy t-day, and told him to give my love to his folks, well, that's when he told me. His mom passed away at 12:30 this morning. I'm so glad she went peacefully, in her sleep. She was worried she wouldn't be brave enough to handle what was happening to her...she was worried the kids and grandkids would think the worst of her. Oh! Mrs. F. I hope you aren't worrying any more. You were definitely brave enough...moreso than you'll ever know.
