It was an uneventful weekend for me because I really didn't do much this weekend besides chores. I did Weight Watchers, some shopping and Laundry and not very much else. I am not sure how many more weekends I will get until the End of April that will be like this because of T-MODE is coming up and Anime USA will be getting busier for the rest of the year. I even gave some advice to Anime USA about someone for another key unfilled position for 2010 and hope that person accepts.

I also got my hotel settled on for Otakon. I won a free weekend stay at the Mount Vernon hotel in a Center Stage auction yesterday.  http://www.mountvernonbaltimore.com is the website for the place. I have stayed their before and it is a basic hotel to stay in for a convention. It is a few blocks from the convention center, but I just need a place to sleep and that place will do fine for Otakon.

The big thing for me will be getting my position in Anime USA settled, so I can speak about it soon. I get tired of not being able to fully understand the situation I am getting myself into. I can't even look at the budget looks like or even start doing the job assigned.

I will not be able to make Anime Boston due to the following two weekends being extremely busy for me. The weekend of April 10th and 11th being Sakura Matsuri (mostly Saturday) and the following weekend being T-MODE for me.

I also got to see the men's Gold Medal Olypmic Hockey match. The US played very well and I think may have earned Canada's respect even though they lost in overtime. One can only pray that the impact from this match has a 20th of the NHL impact that the 1958 NFL Championship game had on Football. After losing a Stanley Cup Finals a few years back, they need all of the help it can get. Maybe, a Capitals vs. Sharks finale can help the NHL also.
