I just spent 40 dollars on a comic book. I'll be able to justify this one, it's well damn worth it. I should really stop asking Ed his opinion of comic books, because no one else has as good a taste in comic books as Ed does. If I asked someone with no taste their opinion, I'd end up with shitty recommendations, and wouldn't buy the damned things.
The comic book which I purchased is:
1) Recommended by Ray Bradbury.
2) Thicker than the coffee on my counter, that I forgot about three days ago.
3) Full of pictures, any of which the original would sell for multiple thousands of dollars, if it were in a pretty frame.
4) Full of very thin glossy sheets of paper that mean I can never read it in the shower.
5) Titled "The Compleat [sic] MOONSHADOW."
6) Already been read through to page 143, with only three fourths or so left to go.
7) Not going to be borrowed by you. Read it when you're visiting, and be really careful with the pages.
8) Almost but not quite a children's story.
You, also, should go buy this book. It will make Paul happy.
I was going to buy "The Invisibles" instead, but it's like 7 or eight volumes long. And I like "The Compleat MOONSHADOW" better.
